ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

The web should work for everyone.

Formosi is committed to making our website and digital experiences more accessible to people with disabilities. Because nobody should need to perform an obstacle course just to find information or start a conversation.

OUR COMMITMENT

Access should be built in—not added as an apology later.

Formosi wants everyone who visits our website to be able to understand our content, explore our services and contact us in a way that works for them.

Accessibility is an ongoing part of how websites are designed, written, maintained and improved. We are continuing to evaluate our website, address barriers when we find them and consider accessibility when adding or updating content and features.

We know that technology changes, standards evolve and even well-intentioned websites can occasionally miss something. If you encounter a problem, we want to know about it so we can help.

OUR BENCHMARK

A clear standard. An ongoing effort.

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, Level AA, as a working benchmark for improving the accessibility of our website.

WCAG organizes accessibility around four principles. Digital content should be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. In less technical terms: people should be able to find it, use it, understand it and access it with the technology that supports them.

PerceivableInformation should be available in ways people can see, hear or otherwise understand.
OperableNavigation and controls should work with keyboards and other input methods.
UnderstandableContent and interactions should be clear, consistent and predictable.
RobustContent should work across current browsers, devices and assistive technologies.
Accessibility is not a finish line.

Using a recognized benchmark helps guide the work, but maintaining accessibility requires continued attention as content, tools and technology change.

WHAT WE ARE DOING

The practical work behind the promise.

As we improve and maintain the Formosi website, accessibility considerations may include:

  • Using meaningful headings and a logical content structure.
  • Providing text alternatives for informative images when appropriate.
  • Maintaining readable type, spacing and color contrast.
  • Supporting keyboard navigation and visible keyboard focus.
  • Writing links and buttons that clearly describe what happens next.
  • Using labels and instructions that make forms easier to understand.
  • Avoiding unnecessary motion and supporting user accessibility preferences where practical.
  • Reviewing new content and features for accessibility barriers.

These efforts do not mean every page or feature will always be free from accessibility issues. They describe the practices we use to improve the experience and the direction in which we are continuing to work.

THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

Some parts of the internet come with roommates.

Our website may include or link to third-party tools, scheduling services, videos, forms, social platforms or other content that Formosi does not fully control.

We encourage the providers of those services to offer accessible experiences. However, their accessibility features and limitations are governed by their own platforms and policies.

If a third-party tool prevents you from accessing information or completing an action through our website, please contact us. We will work with you to provide the information or assistance through another available method whenever reasonably possible.

FEEDBACK AND ASSISTANCE

Found a barrier? Please tell us.

If you have difficulty accessing any part of the Formosi website, need information in another format or require help completing an action, please contact us.

When possible, tell us which page or feature caused the problem and briefly describe what happened. You may also share the browser, device or assistive technology you were using if you are comfortable doing so. That information can help us investigate the issue more effectively.

We will work with you to understand the problem and provide the information, service or assistance through an accessible alternative when reasonably possible.

Let’s make this easier.

Contact Formosi about an accessibility problem, request an alternative way to access information or ask for assistance using our website.
